According to People Magazine this is what Camilla said:

“I’m very touched to have been invited by Prince William and Prince Harry to attend the thanksgiving service for their mother Diana, Princess of Wales,” Camilla said in a statement explaining her decision.

“I accepted and wanted to support them, however, on reflection I believe my attendance could divert attention from the purpose of the occasion which is to focus on the life and service of Diana,” she said, adding: “I’m grateful to my husband, William and Harry for supporting my decision.”

That’s nice that her husband, Prince William and Prince Harry can support her decision but I do not support her decision not to attend. Camilla Parker Bowles should attend this tribute to Princess Diana. After all, shouldn’t she support her husband as well as his sons?

Isn’t she in the least bit remorseful as to her conduct while her husband was married to Princess Diana? They may have been able to move on but clearly she is still jealous of Princess Diana even in her death.

I think she should actually show her support, attend the ceremony, and pay her respects to Princess Diana’s grave. Don’t you?
