Yes, I have been watching MTV since the early 80’s. Yes, I watched the MTV VMA awards last night. Yes, I was disgusted by Russell Brand. He’s an MTV Horror that needs to go back to the UK where he belongs.

I don’t think Russell Brand had any business trying to insert his thoughts about our politics. Again, somebody else trying to make the Presidential Election about race and more Bush bashing.

What did he mean when he said use a Condom Become a Republican? What does that mean? Anybody out there want to spell it out for me? Was he trying to say that Republicans don’t use condoms? What was his point? Who cares?

The Jonas Brother’s bashing was over the top. The Jonas Brothers are young men who happen to be Christians. They have made a pact to not have sex until they are married and there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that.

Russell Brand is the exact opposite of the Jonas brothers. Maybe he was insecure OR intimidated by them.

I thought the MTV VMA award ceremony was supposed to be more about the awards and the music. It seems they tried to insert more shock than anything else. I kept thinking that they should get on with the next category or go to a commercial break.

Perhaps my time could be better spent than to watch MTV.

Michael Jackson is 50 years old too.

I didn’t know that.

I really wish he would have left himself alone.

He’d be looking HOT HOT HOT had he left himself alone.

I can’t believe he’s 50 either.

That has to mean I’m getting old.

I’ve been listening to them both since I was in high school.

I tried out for the high school drill team to Madonna’s Lucky Star.

I wonder how long she will keep going?

We used to get goose bumps watching Michael dance across the stage with his famous moon walk.

It all went down hill once he caught his hair on fire filming a coke commercial.

Or was that a Pepsi commercial?

Perhaps he should have stuck with Coke!

Oprah is a new-age freak.  She is a bit of everything and nothing of the truth. She has her own gospel, her own opinion of God without opening up the only way to God leading many down the path to hell..like many other false teachers, preachers and con artists.  she will endorse anything except the truth of Christ…so if Obama has a dream to be ‘a world leader’ she wants to be his media liaison.  That’s what we are in now…the predictions of Christ Himself in Mathew 24-25.

I’m not too thrilled with Oprah having endorsed Nobama either. Maybe we should start referring to her as Noprah?

I wonder if Oprah will give Sarah Palin some time on her show?

There is nothing Heidi Montag won’t do to seek attention. There’s no telling what her next move will be either.

If she thinks she’s THAT good why doesn’t she get a recording contract and do it that way? All these silly PR stunts aren’t really going to get her anywhere, right?

I can’t believe that Madonna is going to be 50 years old this week.

I think she looks great! She’s going to one of those that never ages for sure.

I’ve been listening to her music since her Like-A-Virgin days.

What’s the big deal? Why is everybody raising such a big stink over the I Kissed A Girl Song. So she kissed a girl, so what!?

I keep hearing that she’s a former Christian Music Singer. Is that what has everybody so upset? Maybe she tried kissing a girl and she likes it, does it make her Lesbian?

Why is everybody so bent out shape? Madonna had “Like a Virgin” and George Michael had “I Want Your Sex” and now Katy Perry has “I Kissed A Girl” — to be honest her song is the best one out of all three of them.

She’s number one right now not because of the words to her song but because it has a great beat.

I do think that the words of her song help to coax people into listening to her music and to hear her voice but once that’s accomplished people are going to be checking out her music.

It’s genius marketing if you ask me!

I took a listen to some of her other songs on her Myspace page and I wasn’t all that impressed. But now that she has made a name for herself people are going to be paying attention and you can bet.. her next song won’t be about Kissing a Boy!?

But people will be listening now, won’t they? That’s the whole point, isn’t it?
