The Robin Williams Peace Plan

I already checked Snopes.com and according to them, the Robin Williams Peace Plan is False. It’s actually one of those forwards that keeps circulating the internet. In any case I still think it’s interesting enough to post because of the points that are being made.

In the picture you see Robin Williams wearing a shirt that says, “I Love New York” in Arabic.

You gotta love Robin Williams even if he’s nuts! Leave it to Robin Williams to come up with the perfect plan. What we need now is for our UN Ambassador to stand up and repeat this message.

Robin Williams’ plan (Hard to argue with this logic!)

I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of a plan for peace. So, here’s one plan.

1) The US will apologize to the world for our ‘interference’ in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those good ole boys, we will never ‘interfere’ again.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany, South Korea , the Middle East, and the Philippines. They don’t want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No one allowed sneaking through holes in the fence.

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave. We’ll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of whom or where they are. They’re illegal!!! France will welcome them.

4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit!!!! No one from a terrorist nation will be allowed in. If you don’t like it there, change it yourself and don’t hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We don’t need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.

5) No foreign ’students’ over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don’t attend classes, they get a D grade and it’s back home baby.

6) The US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise. This will include developing nonpolluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for awhile.

7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don’t like it, we go some place else. They can go somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not interfere. They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides most of what we give them is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very little, if anything.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island someplace. We don’t need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us ‘Ugly Americans’ any longer. The Language we speak is ENGLISH..learn it…or LEAVE…Now, isn’t that a winner of a plan?

The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying ‘Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses.’ She’s got a baseball bat and she’s yelling, ‘you want a piece of me?’

Kanye West is going to jail

According to the Clinton News Network (CNN), Kanye West has been arrested!

Now how come that doesn’t surprise me?

What I’d like to know is why he was arrested on “suspicion” of vandalism?

You would think they would be sure somebody did something in breech of the law before they arrest them.

Did he or did he not vandalize something?

I’m guessing he probably got ticked off at the photographer, things escalated and Kanye probably decided to break the photographer’s equipment.

Or maybe he got his face knocked out while he was holding the camera? Who knows!?

I don’t personally care for Kanye West.

He was the one that said President George W. Bush doesn’t like Black People during the Hurricane Katrina days.

He really pissed me off when she said that because being black had nothing to do with anything.

Hurricane Katrina was an unfortunate event that nobody, not even the people of NOLA, were prepared for.

It will be interesting to find out what happens with his trip to jail.

I wonder if a black cop arrested him… otherwise the racism will be sure to continue, eh?

Matt Damon: Seriously?

Will you join the Oprah Winfrey Boycott?

obama-oprah obama-oprah-hugs

oprah-obama-michelle oprah-change

The Florida Federation of Republican Women has launched a boycott against Oprah Winfrey’s TV show and magazine because the talk queen has said she will not have Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin on her show until after the election.

Democrat Barack Obama — whom Winfrey is supporting for president — was on “Oprah” twice before he announced his run for president, in January 2005 and in October 2006. Winfrey has said she will have neither party’s candidates on her show while they are running for their respective offices.

But the 58-year-old federation, with 4,500 members, says Winfrey should have Palin on her show, given how important Palin’s run is for women.

“She is an icon, and set her herself up to be such a women’s rights and women’s issues person. To have the first vice president of our lifetime on the Republican ticket being a woman and to sit it out regardless of what her personal political beliefs were was disingenuous, we felt,” the group’s first Vice President Cindy Graves told “FOX & Friends” on Wednesday morning.

Graves, 50, says she used to watch “Oprah” and occasionally bought her magazine. She told FOXNews.com that the group has been joined by women all over the country since launching the boycott last Saturday.

“People from Southern California, Tennessee, Texas, Colorado, Rhode Island, just about every state in the union. We’ve also had a tremendous response from Democrats and Independents who are supporting McCain, and Hillary supporters,” she said.

As for the effect of the boycott so far on Oprah’s TV ratings and magazine subscription, Graves said Winfrey is “keeping that quiet.”

Winfrey reacted strongly Friday to a report posted on the Drudge Report Web site that claimed she and “a couple of her top people are adamantly” against booking Palin on her show.

“The item in today’s Drudge Report is categorically untrue,” Winfrey said in a statement sent to news organizations in reaction to the Drudge Report’s posting. “There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over.”

That said, Winfrey used her show to introduce Obama to America’s women voters, and has endorsed and campaigned with the Democratic nominee. She also was very visible at Obama’s nomination acceptance speech in Denver last month.

Winfrey and her executive producer Sheri Salata are also big contributors to Obama’s campaign.

Winfrey’s staff reportedly is sharply divided on booking Palin.

“Half of her staff really wants Sarah Palin on,” a source told Drudge. “Oprah’s Web site is getting tons of requests to put her on, but Oprah and a couple of her top people are adamantly against it because of Obama.”

Hat Tip: America’s Election HQ

Barbra Streisand Underestimates USA Women

barbra-streisand-site

Barbra Streisand doesn’t have time to read any e-mail I would send her let alone respond to me personally, so I’ll go ahead and do my commentating on what she has written and posted on her blog. =]

Maybe he was sick of the lack of media attention…maybe he had enough of the late night talk show hosts poking fun at his age…maybe he realized that belonging to a party that has been associated with rich, white men was not going to connect with voters in this historical election year. Or maybe he was just ready to take back some of the spotlight that has shined so brightly on Barack Obama and the Democrats since the beginning of the Democratic convention. Desperation can motivate people to make some pretty cynical and hypocritical decisions. Whatever the reason, John McCain’s Hail Mary– in the form of Vice Presidential pick Governor Sarah Palin–sent a very clear message to America about how he views female voters. Women, he thinks, will vote another woman into office regardless of the candidate’s values, experience and political positions.

OH PLEASE! Do you all think that Barbra Streisand has given any of her time to attempt to get to know Sarah Palin OR to even research  her working record? She almost sounds like a woman scorned when she refers to John McCain having taken away Obama’s spot light. Surely she can’t be upset that the Democratic Convention went first. Doesn’t she think that the Democratic Convention was good enough? Or is she upset that Sarah Palin was able to captivate the country? Please Ms. Streisand, do not speak on behalf of all women voters. Weren’t you threatening to move to Canada in the last election? Haven’t you done that yet? Or could you not bear to leave your multi-million dollar properties? Please don’t talk about rich white men and their associations. It’s a bit hypocritical, is it not?

No one can dispute that this decision was micro-targeted to the small percentage of Independent and Democratic women residing in the Rocky Mountain West, who strongly supported Hillary Clinton in the primary and still find themselves undecided as we move into the general election. Unfortunately, what John McCain failed to realize is that after eight long and destructive years of George W. Bush, Dick Cheney and their cronies, American voters will not fall prey to political ploys once again.

OH PLEASE! That decision that was made is what happens when you are part of the political process. You have speech writers, campaign managers, and political strategists. I suppose if these people were not on Barbara’s team she would call them cronies. I wonder how she would feel is somebody referred to her staff in this way? Come on Barbra, it’s a political race. People are going to vote and hopefully will pick the best person for the job. It’s been eight years and you are still not over the last election. UNBELIEVABLE. Did you really believe that John Kerry was the best man for the job? Had the Democrats thought about who they were putting up to run against George W. Bush you might be singing a different song.

For months, John McCain and the Republicans went after Barack Obama for lacking the experience they felt was necessary in order to be commander in chief. Yet, on this day, an aging John McCain, who is the oldest Presidential nominee in history, chose a running mate—a person that is just a heart beat away from the Presidency—that has no foreign policy experience, no national experience and limited state government experience…. a virtual unknown who has only been Governor for a less than 2 years of a state with a population of fewer than 680,000 people…a woman who condemns a woman’s right to choose.

OH PLEASE! I can not believe you  have not done your homework on Sarah Palin. Haven’t you ever learned not to underestimate the under dog? Sarah Palin has a record of working with people and going against those that are not doing right by the people even if they belong to her political party. It’s called Bi-Partisan Teamwork. If find it odd that you would complain saying that Sarah Palin condemns a woman’s right to choose yet you are doing the same thing, it’s just not your belief system. Think about it, you are condemning Sarah Palin’s choice. I thought you were pro-choice? Isn’t Sarah Palin aloud to pick or does it have to be exactly as you pick? By the way Ms. Streisand, I don’t believe there are too many people that stick to only 1 political issue when it comes to picking the next President.

I believe John McCain chose Gov. Palin because he truly believes that women who supported Hillary—an experienced, brilliant, life-long public servant–would vote for him because his Vice President has two x chromosomes. McCain’s selection of Governor Palin is a transparent and irresponsible decision all in the name of trying to win this election.

OH PLEASE! You seriously don’t get it. People aren’t behind Palin because she’s a woman. People are behind the McCain Palin ticket because they are not afraid to shake up Washington. Palin is just like ME, the little person. I can identify with her. I can identify with John McCain. It’s about working hard, making decisions that are in line with what the people want. It’s about taking care of business on both sides FOR THE PEOPLE. I personally think it’s a good idea to elect somebody into office that doesn’t necessarily want to be invited to the country club to mingle with all the high powerful Washington elites!

John McCain has served this country. No one in this election is denying him that. But his selection of Governor Palin has demonstrated that he is willing to put his desperation to win this election above the welfare of the American people. As someone who has spent over 40 years advocating on behalf of women both politically and philanthropically, as someone who was a strong supporter of Hillary Clinton and as someone who cares deeply about the health and welfare of all women, hear me Senator McCain: “This calculated, cynical ploy to pull away a small percentage of Hillary’s women voters from Barack Obama will not work. We are not that stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

BY THE WAY! I can’t believe you are busting on John McCain’s age. So what if it’s in his early 70’s. Ronald Reagan was in his late 60’s. How about you Ms. Streisand, aren’t you too old to even have an opinion if age is what you’re so concerned about? What happened to not judging a book by it’s cover?

John McCain is not desperate. He’s smart! He picked a scrapper that Washington D.C. is not going to know what to do with! My goodness, you really are caught up with this business of gender. That’s really too bad.

You’re right, we couldn’t all possibly be THAT stupid.

Russell Brand was an MTV Nightmare

russell-brand

Yes, I have been watching MTV since the early 80’s. Yes, I watched the MTV VMA awards last night. Yes, I was disgusted by Russell Brand. He’s an MTV Horror that needs to go back to the UK where he belongs.

I don’t think Russell Brand had any business trying to insert his thoughts about our politics. Again, somebody else trying to make the Presidential Election about race and more Bush bashing.

What did he mean when he said use a Condom Become a Republican? What does that mean? Anybody out there want to spell it out for me? Was he trying to say that Republicans don’t use condoms? What was his point? Who cares?

The Jonas Brother’s bashing was over the top. The Jonas Brothers are young men who happen to be Christians. They have made a pact to not have sex until they are married and there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that.

Russell Brand is the exact opposite of the Jonas brothers. Maybe he was insecure OR intimidated by them.

I thought the MTV VMA award ceremony was supposed to be more about the awards and the music. It seems they tried to insert more shock than anything else. I kept thinking that they should get on with the next category or go to a commercial break.

Perhaps my time could be better spent than to watch MTV.

People not so sure about Oprah

nobama-noprah

Oprah is a new-age freak.  She is a bit of everything and nothing of the truth. She has her own gospel, her own opinion of God without opening up the only way to God leading many down the path to hell..like many other false teachers, preachers and con artists.  she will endorse anything except the truth of Christ…so if Obama has a dream to be ‘a world leader’ she wants to be his media liaison.  That’s what we are in now…the predictions of Christ Himself in Mathew 24-25.

What do you think of this God Tube video about Oprah?

I’m not too thrilled with Oprah having endorsed Nobama either. Maybe we should start referring to her as Noprah?

I wonder if Oprah will give Sarah Palin some time on her show?

The biggest Celebrity in the world is Obama? NOT!

Should China Forgive Sharon Stone?

sharon-stone

To suggest that God or karma wiped out innocent people, because He is unhappy with their government’s international political position is, in my never to be humble opinion, blasphemous, and phenomenally insensitive and disgusting.

Christian Dior has dropped spokeswoman Stone from their advertisements in China, and has also apologized to its customers there. But, I imagine, because she is a popular, liberal, Hollywood type, with great facial bone structure, she will not be feeling the negative impact of her own “karma” for very long.
