That’s what someone asked me earlier last month.

I can’t picture Paris Hilton and Kid Rock having anything more than a fling or one-night-stand if it hasn’t already been done.

If they did get married it would be on a fluke and would probably be annulled within the first 24 to 48 hours. No, I can’t picture them together at all. They just don’t match up. They come from two different worlds.

I was kind of hoping that Paris Hilton would have stuck with the rich Greek guy she was going to marry. (I can’t remember his name). I think she could have been very happy with somebody who could actually afford to take care of her for the rest of her life.

Then again, maybe they should all just stay single.

Reports are a flutter that Paris Hilton is now getting cozy with Anderson’s ex-husband Kid Rock and that they are dating.

Please tell me this is NOT true!? I thought Paris Hilton was going to save the children? How can she do her good Hollywood charitable deeds if she’s knockin’ boots with the Kid?

When the ticker flashed across the screen that Britney Spears had lost her kids I felt real bad for her. But more importantly, I felt horrible for the kids. Kids that age love their Moms. They don’t understand what is going on with their parents.

I don’t know what Brit did to get her kids taken away from her but whatever it was it had to be bad. She’s been given so many chances to get it right. It’s ok to get out with your friends once in awhile. Even the best single Moms need some “me time” every now and again.

She can afford a driver, so that should take care of the drivers license deal. That also takes care of the designated driver bit if she was wanted to have a little something to drink out at the club. I don’t know what her substance issues are but if she’s doing more than just having a night cap at the club then she does need a little help and maybe she needs friends that don’t want to hang out at the bars.

I don’t know.. it’s just sad.

How in the heck is Kevin supposed to support those kids? Where would the kids be if Britney wasn’t this huge multi million dollar celebrity? Does this mean that they don’t have joint custody any more? Where do the grandparents fit into this mess?

Then I kept thinking about Britney’s Mom and what if that had been Britney taken away from her Mom when she was two years old?

How in the heck is she going to promote her new album if she can’t even take care of the two most important people in her life? I don’t know what she did.. but whatever it is.. she can come back from this.

She can get her shit together and prove to the legal system that she is a good Mom. She can stop hitting the night clubs to much and start hanging tight with her boys. She can work her ass off and actually do a good job performing if she wants to. It’s a balancing act.

Britney just needs to make peace with Britney and realize that it’s never too late to get it right.

I’m so glad that Heather did set the record straight because that was really bad how they made her look at the end of the show when she kept driving around in the dune buggy after Bret wasn’t feeling so hot.

Seriously, it didn’t seem normal that somebody would want to keep driving around knowing that Bret wasn’t feeling all that great. What really got to me was the fact that they made it look like he was ok letting her drive around. had he not been feeling all that well then why wouldn’t he stop her from driving OR why would the picnic continue on even after the fact?

So seeing Heather’s blog entry on this situation was good because I could tell something wasn’t right about the whole thing. Heather if you’re reading just know that if it had worked out and you would have wound up together it probably would have wound up being another Hollywood fling.

The only part about watching the Oscars that I really enjoyed were a couple of the performances, the kids, and the last three awards. Oh and Ellen was pretty funny. I hope Rosie was taking notes.

I have to just say this.. we all know that Ellen is attracted to women. Rosie is attracted to women too. But can somebody tell me how come Ellen doesn’t shove her sexuality down our throats?

Ellen, if you are reading this maybe you can knock some sense into Rosie because I am sick of hearing about something that is NONE of my business. Who she wants to have sex with is not important. I don’t go around telling people who I want to have sex with - why should she?

Enough on that subject - back to the Oscars.

Jennifer Hudson rocked the house!!

Beyonce’s voice is phenomenal. She has that goose bump factor!!

Will Smith’s son is the cutest. I had not realized before last night that the little boy in his movie was his son. That had to be something truly special to be able to act out in a movie with your child. I just love the Smith family.

In the future I would appreciate it if the Oscars would stick more to the awards and less on politics. I think this should be a time when we can actually enjoy something without having to think about politics OR global warming.

I’m not even sure that global warming exists. Have you seen all the snow that we’ve had so far this year? I don’t think politicians have any business even being invited to the Oscars. Their place is in Washington actually doing their jobs?
